The headset uses a safe and well-known technology called tDCS – transcranial direct current stimulation, which can increase cognitive functions by sending a weak current through specific regions of the brain. tDCS has been around for more than 20 years but has been reserved for elite usage in closed settings such as army- and pilot training, and research labs at top universities. With PlatoWork we want to change that and give everyone access to safe and easy brain stimulation wherever they are. 4 STIMULATION MODES: LEARN, CREATE, CONCENTRATE, RETHINK. The PlatoWork headset offers four stimulation modes you can switch between the modes and control the headset with the PlatoWork app.
SCIENTIFICALLY TESTED: More than 4000 peer-reviewed studies covering 100,000 stimulation sessions support the safety and efficacy of tDCS technology. PlatoWork has been tested by more than 1500 individuals.
Utilizing 1.2mA DC current as default stimulation, with the possibility of manually adjusting the current +/- 0.2mA. The headset independently controls the current, by continuously measuring the resistance in the circuit and instantly adjusting the voltage to secure a constant mA.
One size fits all design (54-66cm head size). Controlled through the PlatoWork app (Android and iOS) using Bluetooth.
